Welcome! My name is Karen and I have been teaching since 2008. I've worked in 1st grade, 3rd grade, and Kindergarten! My favorite grade to teach depends on the day. ;) I think I love them all! I live in Jacksonville, FL, which is the perfect place for me because I LOVE the water. I'm constantly trying to convince one of my friends to buy a boat. No takers so far! I love to laugh and I try not to take things too seriously - especially myself. I moved to Florida the summer before my freshman year of high school. I've also lived in Tupelo, MS, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. All before high school!
My favorite things to do are spend time with friends and family, go to the beach, read, go to the movies, and watch (reality) TV. I have a shameful reality TV addiction. I am that person in the teacher's lounge that can always talk about last night's episode of Real Housewives, The Bachelor, Big Brother etc.
